Building on successful trainings in schools developed by SAFE on sugar overconsumption and food packaging and labelling, the project partners adapted the training content and material to improve the health literacy of younger generations on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) prevention and associated risks such as diabetes and childhood obesity. The material was translated into the languages of the partners (English, Croatian, Lithuanian, Greek, Italian and Ukrainian) to facilitate the replicability of the training in the partner countries.

This activity targets children and teenagers from primary to high school, with a focus on schools located in socio-economically disadvantaged areas and schools that welcome displaced children from Ukraine.

Over 20 trainings were successfully rolled out across Greece, Italy, Croatia and Lithuania, reaching over 500 children and adolescents.
