IPCC latest report calling for global Food Waste reduction in agriculture


The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) of the United Nations issued a report in August 2019 highlighting the need for a drastic reduction of Food Waste to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions linked with agriculture and livestock farming. One third of the food produced worldwide is not being eaten and thus wasted, corresponding to one quarter of the water used for farming. Read the full report here.
