SAFE ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2026
24 September 2026
REGISTRATION OPEN!
We are pleased to invite you to SAFE’s 2026 Annual Conference, “Consumers Come First: Clearer Food Information and Rethinking EU Food Legislation for the Most Vulnerable”, taking place on 18 November 2026, from 09:00 to 16:00, at Blankspace, Rue d’Arlon 80, Brussels.
We are particularly pleased to welcome keynote speakers including Antonella Sberna, Vice-President of the European Parliament; Claire Bury, Deputy Director-General, DG SANTE; and Agustín Reyna, Director General of BEUC. The event will also include presentations and discussions with a diverse range of stakeholders, offering an opportunity for meaningful exchange on how EU food legislation can better serve consumers, particularly the most vulnerable.
The programme will feature panels and keynote contributions addressing key topics for SAFE, including non-communicable diseases, ultra-processed foods, eating disorders, responsible marketing and healthier food environments, and the need for clear, accurate, and accessible food information for consumers.
The conference will bring together policymakers, experts and key stakeholders from across Europe to discuss pressing issues shaping the future of food safety, health, and sustainability in the European Union.
We kindly invite you to confirm your participation in person by registering via the following link: Registration form.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at dacunto@safefoodadvocacy.eu.
We very much look forward to welcoming you to this important event and to continuing to work together towards a safer, healthier, and more sustainable food system for all European citizens.
